Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Printster website, ordering app, WhatsApp ordering service and all orders placed through them (together, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by Tech Udyam Solutions Private Limited (“Printster”, “we”, “us”). By using the Platform or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Other policies that form part of these Terms

2. Who can use Printster

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order.
  • If you order on behalf of a business or institution, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.

3. Your account

  • You can sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Keep your phone and account secure. You are responsible for orders placed through your account.
  • Give us accurate details, especially your delivery address and phone number, and keep them up to date.
  • Tell us immediately at info@printster.in if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, abuse or breach of these Terms.

4. Placing an order

  • You upload your files, choose the print specifications (paper size and type, colour, sides, binding, quantity and so on) and a delivery speed, and pay. The price is shown before you pay.
  • Your order is a contract between you and Printster once your payment is confirmed and we send you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch for the reasons in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, with a full refund.
  • Please review the file preview, page count and settings before paying. We print exactly the file and settings you submit. We do not proofread, edit or correct your content.
  • If you need to change an order after placing it, email us immediately. Changes are only possible before the order goes into production.

5. Your files and content

  • You keep all rights in your files. You give us permission to use them only to produce and deliver your order, as described in our User Generated Content Policy.
  • You confirm that you have the right to print everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy or break any law.
  • We do not print certificates, mark sheets, identity documents, currency, stamp papers or other documents issued by a government authority or institution, or anything designed to be passed off as one.
  • We are not responsible for the content of documents you print, including material commonly available on the internet. The copyright in a document always remains with its owner.
  • Your uploaded files are confidential. Files used in an order are kept so you can reorder them, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please keep your own copy.

6. Print quality and tolerances

Printing is a physical process, so some variation is normal and not a defect:

  • Colours on paper may look different from colours on your screen.
  • Paper sizes, trimming and binding positions may vary by a few millimetres.
  • Every page is printed with a small margin. We do not offer borderless printing and are not responsible for content placed too close to the page edge in your file.
  • Low-resolution images in your file will look low-resolution when printed.

If binding is wrong or faulty because of our mistake, we will re-bind it free of charge. Other faults are handled under our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Prices and payment

All orders are prepaid online. Prices, GST, invoices and payment methods are covered by our Payment Terms.

8. Delivery

Delivery speeds, timelines and charges are covered by our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or on collection from a pickup point. Delivery dates are estimates, and we are not liable for delays caused by couriers or events outside our control, although we will always help you track and resolve a delayed parcel.

9. Acceptable use of the Platform

You must not:

  • Upload malware, or files designed to damage or overload our systems
  • Try to access other customers’ accounts, orders or files, or any part of the Platform you are not authorised to use
  • Scrape, copy or reproduce the Platform’s content or pricing by automated means without our written permission
  • Misuse coupons, referrals or rewards (see our Promotional Terms)
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose

To report a security issue, please follow our Responsible Disclosure Policy.

10. Our intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, templates, software and the Printster name and brand, belongs to Tech Udyam Solutions Private Limited or its licensors and is protected by law. You may use it only to browse, prepare and place orders. Templates and designs we provide may be used only for the prints you order from us.

11. Limitation of liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
  • Subject to that, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as missed exam, thesis or event deadlines, lost business or lost data. Please allow for the delivery timelines in our Shipping Policy when you have a deadline.

12. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Printster for any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you asked us to print that infringes someone else’s rights or breaks the law, or from your breach of these Terms.

13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, courier or network outages, power failures or government action. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you and offer a new timeline or a refund.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint, please first contact us or our Grievance Officer. We will try to resolve it quickly. Subject to your right to approach a consumer commission, the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. The version in force when you placed an order applies to that order.
